Getting started
Upload a document, add the people who sign it, place their fields and send. This walkthrough follows the screens in that order.
ReadSending & signing
How to choose between serial and parallel signer routing: serial for witnessed or hierarchical documents, parallel for independent signer commitments.
ReadBranding & emails
On Pro, Team and Enterprise, your logo and accent colour appear on the signing page and in the invitation email. Your business name and email signature appear on every plan.
ReadIdentity & compliance
What VG·Sign records about who signed, the SMS code you can add for each signer, and the consumer disclosure every signer accepts. For what the law asks of a particular document, read the pages linked at the end.
ReadTemplates & forms
A template keeps an envelope’s documents, field layout and signing roles. Fill in names and emails to start a new envelope from it, or send one envelope for every row of a CSV file.
ReadIntegrations
Post envelope events to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, or send signed JSON to any HTTPS address, including Zapier, Make and n8n. All of it is set up in Settings, under Integrations.
ReadAPI & developers
The VG·Sign REST API creates, sends and tracks envelopes with a workspace token. It is included on Pro, Team and Enterprise, and the full reference is on the API page.
ReadAudit & legal
Every envelope keeps an append-only audit trail, and a completed envelope gets a certificate of completion with a SHA-256 fingerprint of each signed PDF. Here is what they contain and how to check a file against its certificate.
ReadAccount & billing
Free covers 3 envelopes a month. Pro is one sender at a flat monthly price; Team is priced per person for 2 to 10 people.
