Consumer Disclosure

By signing electronically through VG·Sign, you agree that electronic records and signatures have the same legal force as paper. Here’s what that means.

Last updated: pending legal review

Final disclosure text is being drafted with counsel to align with the Electronic Commerce Act 2000 (Ontario), UECA-equivalent provincial statutes, and PIPEDA. While the formal text is being prepared, the operating principles below describe what you should expect when signing through VG·Sign:

  • You consent to receive the document and any related notices in electronic form.
  • You can withdraw consent at any time before signing — no penalty.
  • You can request a paper copy of any document at any time.
  • You are responsible for keeping your contact information current with the sender.
  • To sign, you need a current browser, an active email address (and SMS-capable phone if the sender requires it), and the ability to view and download PDFs.

For questions about a specific signing session, contact the original sender. For platform-level questions, email legal@vg-sign.com.
